Abuja – Seven ministers in the cabinet of
President Goodluck Jonathan have resigned their
ministerial appointments, Punch reports.
The ministers include Labaran Maku
(Information); Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu (Health);
Nyesom Wike (State, Education); Samuel Ortom
(State, Industry, Trade and Investment); Musiliu
Obanikoro (State, Defence); Darius Ishaku (State,
Niger Delta) and Emeka Wogu (Labour).
The ministers quit their posts to pursue their
political ambitions, particularly gubernatorial
elections in their respective states.
