Abuja – Suspected members of the Boko Haram
sect attacked another Borno town killing three
people and setting houses and churches ablaze.
A source revealed that scores of insurgents
attacked Pelachiroma village of Hawul local
government area of the state.
“Three people have been killed by members of
the Boko Haram sect who attacked Pelachiroma
village of Hawul local government area of Borno
State,” the source revealed.
A resident of the area, Ignatius Musa, lamented
the attack by the insurgents who went berserk.
“Even churches were not spared,” he said.
Pelachiroma is few distance from Azur Forest
where insurgents last week killed eight people.
The caretaker chairman of Hawul local
government area, Dr Andrew Malgwi, also
confirmed the attack.
“The insurgents also destroyed many houses in
the siege,” he said.
